I am awed by this story. What a trial your family has been through. So glad things have turned around. What a brave call about the meds.
So late to send but: May The Good Lord continue to send healing. What a loving family you have and such good care for your Dad. God take care of all of you.
Prayers and hugs! To all of you even at this late date...
O Wow, This is the first time I have read this, what an ordeal for you all to go through, and it is indeed a miracle. I am so happy for you and all your family, and I pray your Dad will continue to improve.
Hugs Pam.
Best wishes to your Dad, you and all your family!
Hugs, Lidia
So happy to see you back! You and your family have been under Cuties continual outpouring of prayers in your families behalf, prayers are heard and answered, miracles can and still do happen, the Holy Spirit does prompt and guide us when we are spiritually seeking answers and willing and able to listen to that still small voice. It is easier when it is a bold and direct response but usually that is not the way of the Holy Spirits guidance. Your sweet mother has obviously learned to listen to that voice, and to then abide by the council that has been given. There is a joke about doctors that says:There is a reason it is called a medical practice, because practice is what they have learned to do in their profession. Doctors tend to be taught to look at ways that most people respond, or what is generally the cause if someone has specific problems, but those are all generalizations and many people just do not fit those stereotypical guidelines. They also are taught in medical school that if you hear hoof beats, think ...horses, in this case the hoof beats of your father turned out to be a zebra or maybe even a unicorn as the hand of God was truly there helping your family to know what was the best for your dad. So happy your family can now take a deep breath again and treasure the time you have together still. The stress and exposure to infections likely effected many members of your family so all of you need to be extra vigilant in all aspects of your lives even into the coming weeks and months to taking special care of yourselves, maintaining mighty prayer and in the listening to that still small voice that can guide if we are willing to learn how to listen. Huge Hugs dear friend, Pam
Exceptionally well said Pam & many thanks for your support. ~hugs & Blessings to you~
Thinking of you all. Sounds like a very difficult and challenging time. He sounds like an amazing man and well done to your mum. It takes a strong person to tell doctors to stop what they are doing when They believe what they are doing is right. Prayers for you all and pleased your dad is home where he will be much happier
Praise and joy right now! Your story is one to share to help others. Wow. My heart is full for all of you. So glad to hear from you, Joan
So Happy to hear your dad is on the mend, being home will allow him to recovery with less stress. Will still keep you all in my thoughts for a happier and healthier 2017 and beyond. Marian
Marian yes I agree with you his being home has made him so much more relaxed, thank you so very much, ~hugs~
That is good news and I'm sure that with the Lord's help he will be completely healed. I for one is not for taking a lot of medicine and believe in natural healing. The medicine my late husband took for cancer and the treatment killed him. It was too much. Hugs and my prayers are with you.
Babsie thank you so very much, unfortunately there are many drugs out there that have more side affects than are worth it so in that regard I also agree with you ~hugs~
Praise the Lord. Thankful for His mercies & healing.
Doing the happy dance for you all Loralye. It is so good to hear from you again. I have missed you. I will be sending you a PM later today. Lots of love to you and your dad. Sarah
Crying happy tears here Loralye. It is so wonderful to read your great news. Can't tell you how happy your good news makes me feel.
May he continue to improve and live the life he is meant to.

Thank you for the update. He has been the focus of many prayers.
So nice to see you back. Your and your family have been on quite a difficult journey. I am so glad it has ended the way it has and hope your father continues to get stronger. Your mother was so right about the medications being to much for him. My prayers are with you all. Hugs Shirley
Shirley thank you so very much, you know what they say your mother is always right lol ~hugs~
I am always glad to hear how things transpire, especially when the outcome is good. Give him a hug & kiss from his cuties.

P.S. nice to see you back
Good morning Loralye, it was such a lovely surprise to come on here this morning and see your avatar. I've been hoping and praying that everything would be o.k. with your Dad. Thank God for his tender mercies and I know that your Dad will continue to improve. Our bodies are amazing things aren't they? Prayers for you and your Mum and Dad are continuing. We have missed you, but it's lovely to see you back. Love Chris
you are so right Chris, our bodies truly are amazing & so much stronger then we can imagine. He has made us all very happy & the Dr's very confused lol. thank you so very much ~hugs~
Great news about your dad, being home and on the mend. I'm sure it is a tremendous relief for you and your family to have him back home after such a terrible experience. He is lucky to have you and your mom looking out for him, and pressing the doctors to get him off those medications. I hope the rest of his recovery goes well. It's good to see you back online.
thank you very much, I have 7 brothers & sisters & we have all been there every step of the way. we are all so happy to have him back home with us, it truly is a Miracle ~hugs~
The doctors called him the mystery man because they are scientists and find it hard to label a miracle man when they see one. What an ordeal you have all been through. I'm so glad he is improving and I continue to pray for you all.
Life can be a roller coaster of emotions, I know, but so very thankful and happy for you and your family. I know your mom is glad to have him back too. Strength will come, but may take some time. Best wishes to you all!-Toogie
Thank you very much Toogie, I know your right it will take some time, I honestly think he will recouporate so much better at home then stuck in hospital where he was getting infections all the time from inside hospital. ~hugs~
Oh, Loralye..what an ordeal...so very sorry that he and all of you had to endure such ups and downs...but so very glad that he has turned the corner and is back on the road to a full recovery. Unbelievable that a simple colonoscopy could turn in to such a critical turn of events...you have been missed here and so glad you could come and give us a positive update...
Thank you very much Kim, we could hardly believe it ourselves & to be in there getting infections every few days it just broke our hearts. I am just so glad that it is all behind us & he can concentrate on getting stronger every day. ~hugs~
