This is beyond awesome. I can't even imagine the time it would take to do this. And congratulations on sticking with it to the finish. ( I have so many that I start, then they sit in a box.)
Awesome doesn't even come close to describing the job you have done. This is a treasure/Lillian
How beautiful. Great embroidery designs and fantastic way to set them with the four patch diamonds. This was well worth the effort and time.
A mammoth project, a stunning result. Well worth the effort. The quilt is beautiful. Sandra.
WOW! I can't believe the hours you have put into this quilt. Beautiful workmanship! Love Chris
oh my this is beautiful so many hours of work. Just gorgeous I one day want to make one for my bed.
I love quilts that merge ME with quilting and yours is spectacular! The variation in designs you stitched really give a depth of interest and makes one want to keep looking at each one. Would you like to share what type of fabric/stabilizer you used to create this?
I used cottons to sew on and a light weight cut away stabiliser. For the backing I bought a king size flat bed sheet(cotton) in the sales as thar was far cheaper than buying double width cotton.
Thanks for the info! I didn't know that cut away came in different weights! Sure gave you a fantastic result!
That is one of the most beautiful spreads or covers I have ever seen. You did a great job thanks for sharing. Virginia
