WOW!!! It is so excellent stunning and beautiful .Cant wait to see the finished quilt.Well done .Have been a nice day
these look great! congratulations on finishing another stunning stitch out. I have also placed thread that gave me alot of breakages in a freezer and i believe this method works!!! My country is also very hot and humid (not currently though!! we are freezing which is not the norm) but in general thread from the shop are stored in humid places and this method of placing the thread in the cold for at least an overnight i found it does wonders!
Thanks so much for your comment. I'll see how it works out for future blocks. ❤️ Chris
Lovely Chris, how many more will you need? ...Oh, I just re-read but you'll get there. It will take many more at 8 1/2 inches but I know you'll get it done and when you do, it will be gorgeous!
Chris, another great stitch out to add to your growing collection, it has been too hot to do much here as well. Glad to here the thread breakages are reduced, may be the fridge did the trick. Sandra.
Thanks Sandra, yes the heat has been unbearable. I hope that did the trick putting the thread in the fridge. ❤️ Chris
I look forward to seeing it all put together, Beautiful so far.
Chris this is absolutely lovely--can't wait to see it all put together. Just had to comment. I keep going back to look at pages of projects-limited on time to even look these days--won't even get in to all that. But I hope to respond to others. I just can't seem to get caught up. Haven't even played with my new Babylock Flourish except to stitch out one design. The machine is upstairs, hiding.
What a shame Patti....pack it up and come here, we will play hide and seek-lol- We can hide in my sewing room and they will have to seek us out!
It's looking great, looking forward to see the finished quilt.
I just love your blocks! You have a fabulous stitchout!
I wouldn't be too anxious to set the ones with the different light of dark fabric aside. One of my favorite quilts was one I did that had two different dye lots; therefore, two different shades. So try them out...like together in the middle? or corner blocks? Or throw pillows? or as a diagonal row, etc.
The ones I made on the deep navy were for the corners Penny but they are too small now. So I'll continue with the second fabric but see what I can do. ❤️ Chris
its beautiful, please put it together and show us. thanks
Stunning work BFF. And I know they look even nicer in reality. It's going to look fabulous in your bedroom.
hugs n love, me
Can't wait to see it all put together! I like this one with just the outline stitching!
So Stunning..Well done!!!Great task you doing????Beautiful
Chris its great to see the squares that your stitching out and am looking forwards to seeing it all completed (as no doubt you are too)
Hi Caroline, yes this is the worst part getting them all sewn. Then to organise the positioning etc. sewn together, wadding, choosing backing fabric, sending to quilter and then to bind it. Aaaaagggghh why do I do this to myself - because I love it! He he he. ❤️ Chris
Hi Chris, due to circumstances beyond my control, I have not been on cute for a long time. Opened today to see this beautiful stitchout. Well done.
How lovely to see your avatar once again Marietta. Thanks for commenting. Hope you are OK. Love ❤️ Chris
