Cuties, I have another tee shirt done. This one for my young grandson that hunts, showing the front and back. He chose these designs himself. I haven't stitched the guns from Sick before, but I have a few places not covered with thread. From a distance it doesn't show, but closeup you can tell. I hooped Cut-A-Way and pinned tee to the stabilizer. Then I overlaid with my water soluble. I think I did everything correct....???-Toogie

Your grandson will love this shirt! (I can't let my hubs see it or he will want something similar...) Love the orange shirt with these designs.

Awesome job on a knit. You'll never see it "on a trotting horse", that phrase courtesy of my beloved grandmother.

Great work and the design looks good on the orange shirt. I'm sure your grandson won't notice, he will love it because you made it for him. Love Chris

Thank you I think he won't notice anyway and that's all that matters to me.

I sure can't see it unless I zoom in on it a lot. A guy wouldn't see it no matter how close they looked! The designs are perfect and he'll be thrilled with the shirt. If not, I'll take it!

Unless I'm doing a design from a site that I don't normally buy from or don't have full confidence in, I always look at the stitch points in my software to see if there are gaps. I've learned how to decide if I need to fill the gaps in or not.

When I first started, I'd not take the project out of the hoop. Instead, I'd just fill in the stitches with my sewing machine using a free motion technique. I never have to do that now. I also tried using markers to fix gap problems. The problem I have with that is unless the marker really matches the thread colors well, the marker's marks can stick out like a sore thumb. It's like having a dot right smack in the middle of things. Black, reds, and green usually match up well, but...magenta? turquoise?

I usually look at the design in my program to see how it looks first but I must have overlooked this one. I'm like you thinking he won't even notice. Thanks

Nice job, Toogie...sorry the design from Sick was flawed, but that seems to happen frequently with some of their designs...looks good anyway...

Their old designs were much better than the more recent ones. I hardly ever buy from there anymore and don't even pick up the free ones most of the time.

I'm not sure if it's the design, because I never did a 'test' stitch out, but I'm ok with it as it's just a shirt to play in.
