Kacee, Embrilliance has a stand alone program called Thumbnailer. It allows you to see your designs as thumbnails in Finder. Then you can switch from just Thumbnails to a picture view and scroll through that way, even making them larger. Ann the Gran has it on sale right now and it is well worth the money. Hugs. Nan W
Thank you. You are right. This is what I needed. I bought it. It is very nice to finally see my purchased designs.
So, Cuties...I think Kacee is looking for a program to use on her Mac so she can see the designs on the Mac...not a problem once they get to her Bernina...what program (like Embird Iconizer or Embrillance or other) can be used on a Mac computer so she can see the designs in the folders on the Mac? I know there must be one, but don't know which one...
Yes, it would help if I could first see the designs on my computer and then make a choice which one I want to embroider.
Now I have to do this on my sewing machine but before each design I have to scroll through a lot of 'empty' tabs with curved lines.
Searched on the internet after your advice and maybe the programm 'Convert it, Mac' from Embrilliance is what i need.
Thank you!
Hello and welcome. I have a Bernina but not your model. I have chosen to use PES for my designs and not anything else, mainly as I had many PES designs. I only keep my desk top going because of my embroidery. I cannot do anything (or very little) on my iPad - know nothing about MAC. I have three sticks which I use for embroidery and I never have any more than two or three designs on them. It is just too much for the machine to comprehend. Wishing you all the best in sorting this out.
hi Kacee, just wondering if you have had any luck with your question?
A lot of people were very helpful. Still trying to master the combination Mac desktop and Bernina QE 750.
Thank you.
If you are using a Bernina, too many designs on a USB drive will make the computer in the Bernina go crazy. If you buy the USB drive that Bernina sells, you can on put a limited number of designs...maybe 5 or so... on the stick to protect against this happening. Or, delete on the designs on your stick and just put a few at a time on it. If reducing the number of designs on the usb stick, and they are in exp format, and it doesn't fix the problem, you probably will need to contact your dealer.
I didn't know this. Thank you for answering me. The problem is that on my Mac I can't see most of the embroidery designs. Only on my Bernina sewing machine.
If I can only see 5 designs everytime, then clean the USB stick again, put 5 others on it in order to see the designs on my sewing machine and so on... it is a lot a lot of work. My dealer told me to install windows on my Mac, but for different reasons I don't want to do this. But I can embroider, that is not the problem. It is only all those 'empty' tabs with a curved line on it that annoys me.
Thanks again!
Hi Kacee and welcome to Cute...I think Meganne is right...I would also suggest you try a small USB stick (2GB or less) and do not put the designs in folders...see how that works and come back here and let us know if you need more help...

Kacee, we don't mind questions here. However, I have no idea as I use the software that I purchased with my Bernina. Keep checking and someone will come along and help, but do answer which machine you use so that you can get explicit help.
You could answer by editing (click on link below) your original question. I'll leave a link below with those instructions, but if you aren't comfortable with that yet, just open a new dialog box below your original thread.
Thank you for answering me. I have a Bernina 750QE but can not use their software on a Mac. I don't have Windows. It makes it a lot more complicated those two together. One day I will have figured it out. :)
Hi Kacee,
You haven't advised which machine you have so any advice we could give will only be a generalisation.
Machines are usually very limited to the number of designs they can view/read from any external device and most do not handle folders at all, so my advice is::: when you wish to transfer a design to your machine you do not use the USB on which you store all your designs.
You should keep a separate USB, and only add to it the designs you actually intend to transfer to your machine. Do not create a folder to put them in, just add them directly to the USB.
I hope this helps until everyone else adds to it.
hugs n roses, Meganne
Meg this is from Kacee's previous post. I can not help at all since I know nothing about a Mac or a Bernina
Is there somebody who has a Bernina 750QE and a Mac?
I don't know how to download a design in EXP. My machine sews with EXP.
Thank you for answering me.

Aaaah! Thanks Kim.
I'm so sorry Kacee. I am not familiar with Bernina embroidery machines, I thought they all used ART format.
I know even less about Mac computers.
I know with my Brother machine, when I use their embroidery CARD and card reader, I can only see and transfer one design at a time, yet if I purchase a design card I can put it in the machine and see TWO designs at a time then have to move to the next page to see the next two.
Doesn't your machine or software manual tell you how to view your designs? Perhaps you could search on YouTube or contact Bernina directly.
I'm really sorry I can't be more helpful. :-(
