The bag is one of those bags with prints of a product and I covered it with my strips of fabrics and added an applique. hugs, Mary

Thank you to you both, I am not smarter, but the first thing that came into my mind was how to use up my scraps and make a stronger shopping bag. I have actually made one of them before but without any applique, so it was posted in another section :-)
