Where in the world do you find the time Sue, I know you must work around the clock. This is truly Magnificent. A BEST OF SHOW in any competition/Lillian
This one took quite a few weeks. I just did a couple of blocks when I could. The main problem was boredom! I hate to do things more than once.
Absolutely fabulous, Sue! You're amazing and so is your quilt!
I came across this tutorial on how to ice dye fabric... it looks rather simple.
Perfect and beautiful! Just wondering where you buy all the time needed to do these marvellous and many projects! Is there a special 48 hours/day store in the Lincolnshire area :-) ?
It is beautiful. I can't imagine what it must have looked like trying to wrestle with that ith as it was getting bigger!
so beautiful! Your work is always stunning!I also like "fire and ice" suggestion.
This is absolutely stunning. The hand dyed fabric is impressive, compliment to you and your daughter for the fantastic result.
Very pretty. I like the "fire and ice" suggestion and also Ruby Geode.
Beautiful and so much work Sue. It reminds me of Chevron designs.
So I'd like to put my suggestion in as "Chevron Ice" Love Chris
Beautiful quilt and fabulous fabric. I have to find out about ice dying. These colors are WOW.
Hi Sue, a awesome quilt, beautiful fabric and great design:-), hugs Maria
Awesome quilt. Beautiful fabric, design and quilting. I love how the blocks have the corner hit in the middle of the next block. Thanks for the viewing.
Lovely! I don't know why, but it reminds me of those crystals you might use in a clear vase to arrange flowers.
I have not heard of ice dying fabric. Would you please explain a little about this process? Thanks.
I don't know what you will call it but I call it Beautiful! I've never heard of ice dye, so I guess I'll have to look that up.
Gorgeous! i love the hand dyed fabric and all its colour variations, you used it to its full advantage. Absolutely stunning.
Can't help you with a name.
This is stunning! Love the colours. This is certainly a one-of-a-kind quilt and should become a family heirloom...especially with two contributors in the making of it! Well done to both you and your daughter.
Sue this quilt is awesome. I like the idea of doing the block joining in the hoop and then joining the rows with the machine. That makes it so much more manageable doing a large quilt. Great idea, great job.
Sue this is brilliant. What a super quilt you have produced with the fabric that was dyed for you. A great piece of joint work.
Beautiful job...I love the fact that the fabric was ice dyed too...thanks for showing the back, too.
Yes, the picture wouldn't be complete without the back. It is lovely as well.
