We also have wisteria in S. Africa but I have never seen it grown like this. Looks amazing
How beautiful! I only seem them in parks in Japan. Love, Yoriko
Very beautiful. My mil had one grown like this. Now most of it has grown it's way up, and spring brings a purple top 80 feet up in the pine trees.
Wow my Dad they this!!! Will have to find the photos to show you how big he had gotten. Thanks for sharing!
Super! Never saw the wisteria as a tree so far. Did you "educate" or cut it yourself that way? Very beautiful. My friend in Lincoln/UK used to have a large Wisteria around her house too. Hugs and Happy Colourful Spring to you - Maria
Lovely. I like it free standing! Mine has not even leaves or buds...
Beautiful, in the UK it is usually growing up the side of a building
Not only in the UK here also. I have it as a climber in the backyard also.
It's beautiful but glad I can't smell it. I would be sneezing for a week!
I feel so sorry for people that deal with allergies specially this time of year when mother nature burst out in blooms.
Our Wisteria is wrapped around our Jacaranda tree and has just had some flowers, finished now though. Lovely picture Angie, love Chris
Just sad that the bloom does not last very long, but seeing in it's glory twice a year is good enough for me.
It's beautiful, I can almost smell the scent. I have never seen it like this too, only as a climber. But I love the way it grows at your place. it's gorgeous. Thank you for sharing this picture. Hugs/love Gerry
Gorgeous. I've only seen it as a climber here in UK.
That is the usual way, but when I saw it in the nursery as a tree I just had to have it,
WISH WE HAD THE WEATHER FOR IT HERE,I WOULD LOVE IT IN AUSTRALIA.I JUST LOVE ALL THERE WILD FLOWERS AND GRASSES..LUCY
