I like your description and now I know how to describe the way my serger sounds...like a tractor! Ha! I do have a Brother 4500 and wish there was a club online for help. Hoping you get help for your machines and enjoy the new one. :)
Sorry Lyn I don't live in South Australia anymore but I do have a Brother. Sounds like they may be opening a store from your cryptic message. ❤️ Chris
I am not going to hold my Breath from a conversation I had with this company yesterday but one can dream
not in S,a. but vic. I have a 800e I.m sure you will be very happy with it, have you taken the cover off your other machine, and looked at the big metal arm, sorry don't know what it is called, it goes round when sewing , I have had thread wound around this, and it makes a loud sound...wendy,
Received my new machine yesterday. Too busy to really have a look at it. It is Embroidery only and I have a lot of plain sewing to do for Easter and then I can have a play. Mine is an 800E as well. Have you just bought yours?
had it about 18 months, gradually altering all my designs to fit, still use my 780 I have 2 going all the time...great fun...wendy
Fingers crossed for you. My local sewing shop has only been carrying brother machines for the last 12 months. Not sure why it took them so long. All the brothers I have had the opportunity to use are lovely
