What a great gift and a wonderful array of colors. Enjoy using them. Hugs
Wow! That is so cool! You can do a lot with this collection. I see so many colors that I love to use. The yellows are special this time of year. I was just thinking what can I do (fsl) to spruce up my kitchen window.
I'm so glad you had this bright spot in your day. Prayers continue and hugs across the miles, Joan
Thank you Joan especially for the prayers. There are many days that I know I would never get through without God's guiding hands/Lillian
What a wonderful gift! Lillian, I have dealt with this company on several occasions - that's where I buy my machine needles from - 100 Organ brand needles for $11.95 with free shipping! They are very fast with the delivery and are great to deal with. I haven't bought thread from them, however.
You and Ron, continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs*, Deb
That is a terrific deal on needles. I like the Organ brand. My girls buy most of my supplies and that's the brand they usually get. I'll have to tell them about these because I know they go to a machine dealer and purchase them.. Thank you
Hi Miss Lillian, wow, what a wonderful array of colours. I'm so glad that the girls below have found where they are from.
I'm so sorry that you are housebound looking after Ron. And I'm so thankful that you are getting lots of help from your family. Love Chris
Hope your machine has no problems with it and that you enjoy every stitch with all those beautiful colors. Pam
Wonderful - we all need visitors like yours!
Beautiful assortment of color! They gave you a great gift! Only way you are going to know if your machine likes it is to try it!
Have fun!
Thanks, that is true. I do believe our machines have a mind of their own. There are some threads my Babylock just will not use/Lillian
Here is the site for these threads.
Thanks Toogie , looks like they are pretty reasonable on the thread . Also looks like a pretty big outfit, I'm wondering why I have never heard of them before./Lillian
I checked with Google, California Thread and Supply is a large outlet and the review is good. You have a nice variety of colours and the thread look brilliant, I would tried it right away! Here is the link for the site:

Wow! What a blessing. Really nice variety of colors, too. Have a lot of fun. I hope Ron is doing well? And you? Are you resting????
Thank you !. Ron continues to decline, hospice continues and now my daughter or her hubby will come in evenings and help me get him in bed. He can no longer help..I can get him up into w/c. Nurse puts him in recliner. Aide after bath puts him back in bed, I get him up again in afternoon and the kids help me get him bank to bed at night. He continues to feed himself when out of bed(oob) but that's the only thing he can do for himself.Totally home bound and me too pretty much. He cannot be left alone. /Lillian
I wish I was near, to relieve you, and let you get out a couple hours each day........
All I know is you can play now! Where did they get it at a garage sale? I've never heard of it either and I would just try it out . Have fun with a great gift!
Thanks Toogie. Someone in the retirement community had purchased a machine and a lot of thread. Decided they couldn't do it and gave everything away. Sis n law was actually given 2 boxes. She took one home and gave me the other. Forgot to mention she also gave me a box of prewound bobbins. They do not fit my machine but I simply rewound 1 to an empty bobbin of mine and it works fine, but that's the only thing I've done so far/Lillian
No Toogie I asked why a d she said she just didn't think she could learn how to do it. She is in her eighties.. I bit my tongue , didn't want to appear ungrateful for what she did give me but really would have loved to have helped her learn to use it. She is a great quilter and craft person. Fantastic on her sewing machine and participates in craft shows all winter in Fl. She crochets also all kind of things.
