Hello Cuties! I have been gone from Cute for almost a year. I have missed you!

As most Cuties know I have had a couple of rough years. The road to recovery has been long and sometimes sad with happiness thrown in between. I still miss my Blackie so very much. Last mammo was good. I did not have anymore reconstruction surgery.
In January I went on a cruise to the Panama Canal. I loved it. 10 days of pampering!
Last summer I went north to visit family. I found a perfect home for me. It is a short distance from all my family. I will also have my own sewing room. No more sharing sewing with the guest bedroom. This is a big move for me because I have lived in this house for 30 years. Lots of memories in this house. But I am moving on and I know it is a good choice for me. Today I sold this house. I am excited to move.
May 1st would have been our 35th anniversary. I will be doing something we both would have enjoyed.
I am thankful Cute is still there for me. This is a place where I can express myself and enjoy posts from others.
Sending Hugs to all Cuties,
Suzanna

Good to hear from you Suzanna. Glad to hear you are moving close to family and continuing to stay in touch with cute. There will always be those here on Cute who care. I know this to be true. Families are our supports and help when they are near. The best to you in this new phase of your life/Lillian

Good for you Suzanna. I loved reading all your posts about your beautiful "Blackie" and how he loved you forever and 2 days. I'm sure you are going to have a wonderful new adventure in your new home and I'm so pleased to read that you will be close to your family. Life has its ups and downs and it's good to see you've bounced back up. I pray that your daughter is doing o.k. too now after her double mastectomy and am glad to see your most recent mammogram was a good result. May God bless you, love Chris

I am glad to see you back here. It sounds as if you are ready to make a big move. Sometimes it is good to get a new start. It worked for me.I found that all the memories in the house we lived in for 34 years made me also sad. Can you imagine a sewing room all by itself. Heaven!!!!
Hope to see you back more often.

So happy for you to be creating the next adventure now. It's very different when you're single again and it has its sorrows and joys, freedoms and restrictions. Take your sweet memories with you as you pack to move into this new place and phase of life. So good to hear from you.

We are all so glad that your life is now having periods of happiness after so much sadness. Kudos to you to do what is right for you, what will make you happy and best of all allow you to stitch again in a happy place. I hope this means you will be visiting with your Cute family more often.

Suzanna, I can "hear" joy in your voice. I'm sure it was a trying time while you searched everywhere for it. But now, it's back and and so are you. You will still have waves of sadness roll over you, but have reached the point that you know you can just hold on until they pass. Blackie is surely happy that his darling is doing things you both would have enjoyed. Welcome home, Cutie.

Congratulations on surviving the long year and thriving after such a heartbreak! I am glad your cancer is being held at bay. It is so good to hear from you and to see that you are headed towards family and a new sewing room too!
You remain in my prayers. May you continue to be blessed.

Welcome back to Cute. Life has its ups and downs and I hope that with your planned move that your now on a up as it sounds as if there has been too much of the other. Moving after so long - well I could say a lot but it sounds as if being closer to family and your own sewing room are a huge plus. Memories stay with us and I know you have many and will make more in moving to a new home. Good Luck with the move
