Another quilt done for the orphanage. I had watched a video from the Missouri Company and just had to try it. I must say it was a lot of fun creating.

Stunning--I got as far as doing one sample block of the cat one Jenny Doan made. I love watching her videos--she makes everything look easy but they are still time consuming but oh so pretty.

This will be perfect. I have a fiend who works with young people getting ready to leave out and be on their own. She says that normally it is a very hard time for them and it will be nice for him to have something of his very own and to know that there are people who still care about how he is getting on.

Well done, Angie...it is beautiful! Love Jenny's quilts and easy construction style...so much more fun than the templates needed back when I first started quilting! Such a great cause and you have such a beautiful heart!

Thank you Kim. In a way I am lucky. I started quilting (just squares) when hightechgranny asked for help for the children in Uganda. Youtube is a blessing, but you have to watch out that you are not on line for hours. Jenny makes it look easy and understandable.

Sarah try it. I used to look at quilts and thought people are crazy to sew together this little pieces of material. It really isn't as hard as it looks. There are so many YouTube tutotials

Thank you. I m always looking for ideas how to use up scraps. I also needed to keep in mind that this one was going to a young man, so no flowery themes etc.

Thank you. Those bigger quilts are for young adults in a transition year after they had to leave the orphanage because of age.
