you will start a new trend I think, it is lovely.
Thank you, I do not think so, I just did not like seeing a hole on this wreath, although a wreath actually has a hole in the center:-)
I love these;but could I ask about where to purchase the pattern? thank you..Diane M.
please use Google and type in ' origami candle mat' or 'candle wreath' and you should find some patterns and You Tube instructions.
Wow, this is so colourful and sets off the door so nicely. Happy Easter and I hope Spring is not too far away. Love Chris
I love it. did you use wire to keep the points so nice?
Thank you, no, I just ironed the fabric with an iron on stabilizer to make it stiff.
Love it so nice and bright. Like the Chook fabric as well.
Thank you, love the fabric too. Why do you call it Chook? is it another name for chicken? sorry for my ignorance:-(
Yes, hens are called chooks and sometimes old ladies, like me are 'old chooks' haha!
Great change of use. That does look as if the sun has arrived and hanging on your door.
Great idea, love the bright colors and it does look like the sun on the door. How did you make the ball in the middle?
Thank you, I just made a yoyo big enough to cover the hole in the middle and stuffed it a little, then I added another smaller yoyo in the middle. The wreath is actually a design for the candle mat but I found it too big for my table and decided to turn it into a door wreath. made one last year for my fall wreath. :-)
