Everytime I see one of your doily's, I wish I had a bigger hoop size.
I would love to be able to make all these gorgeous designs like you do, but will continue to admire the ones you create.

Lidia absolute very very beautiful doily .Loved it .Have been a nice weekend Hugs Stella
This is beautiful. I don't make many doilies but have a lot from Sue Box.
Each one you do Lidia is just fabulous. Love Chris
That's a very uniques hape for a doily. Very love!
Lidia, you keep showing us how to think outside the box...love it! How do you manage to make the fabric centre? I'm assuming that you use w/s stabilizer but when do you cut away the fabric to give the lace edging? Using your ideas I stitched out a doily with Sue's geranium corner and her versatile doily #1 yesterday...I just put it to soak to remove the w/s stabilizer so it's not ready for a picture yet. Maybe later!!
Thanks for your comment. In order to attach the fabric centre to the water soluble stabilizer, I have created an inner contour stitching in my software. After the contour stitching has been stitched out onto the fabric, I have trimmed the fabric and then stitched the free-standing lace design. I can't wait to see your geranium doily :-)
Hugs, Lidia
That makes such good sense! I'll have to try it one day. Right now I'm on a roll making several doilies using Sue's designs. They are just fabulous. Thanks for your help. Avis
Sounds like I might be able to make one. What size inner circle did you use? I don't have software so your help would be appreciated?
