I have not tried this, but it may be worth a try. The WSS glue is also good in stiffening any project that you want. This show was stiffening knitted bowls so that they would hold their shape. Worth a try.

I suggest you use woven fabric for this method. I had read someplace about moistening it to hold it in place. So I tried it on terry. You can't pull it off because it tends to pull out the loops. So I had to cut around the places to get the excess WSS of before rinsing out.

I have notes on this also: suggesting to use the equivalent of 0.9m of Solvy in 200ml water. If you want it thinner or thicker, adjust either the amount of Solvy or the amount of water in the mix. 10 marks for frugalism and a flower to you, dlonnahawkins!

Only thing is you have to rinse it out after stitching. As long as you remember that it works well.
