There is a saying in my area of the world: "Welcome to Utah. If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes"
Last week we had temps in the 80's. Today, it is snowing! Our mountains received over a foot of new snow. In the morning on your way to work, you may need your car heater. By afternoon, on the same day, you may need your A/C. Never a dull weather moment here!

I had a Japanese visitor last week who said he had weather from all four seasons in one day while he was in the UK. Like the 5 minutes rule

115755It sounds so much like where I grew up (in New England). We had the same saying too. I always dressed in layers.

We get snow in June and July. It has been that way since I have been in this State. We get unseasonably warm temps in November or December for a week too. It is just a taste of weather in case some of us are forgetful.

158716We have those heater in the morning, a/c in the afternoon days sometimes in Feb. and March. But not much of any snow ever! My Boston relatives used to say that "wait 5 minutes" saying.
