It is so tragic. Spoke to my English girl-friend this morning. Everyone is
sad - especially when thinking about the new "quality" of terror hitting
girls and their mothers. It makes me feel sick thinking terror is like cancer spreading all over the world.
Here in England, people are sending hearts to Manchester. Many include a little bee motif because the worker bee has been associated with the city for a couple of hundred years. I've made this design available through my Facebook group.
Me too, my thoughts and prayers are with our UK friends at this time.
It breaks my heart each time events like this happen. But then I hear about the love and support that pours out. Evil may try but love and goodness win, always.
I am so proud of the people of Manchester, seeing how they are loving on each other and the officers, bringing out food for everyone and showing support through the prayer vigil and most proud to see a variety of clergymen and have one state that hatred toward any group in the town is unacceptable. That took guts!
I too listened in horror to these events last night on the radio while working night shift, I was sickened by the attack on innocent children of all nations attending a music concert, living in London our politicians speak of tolerance, while the reality is our towns are turning into ghettos,
all life should be valued, my heart goes out to the families and friends affected by this
I was listening to the radio last night and it had just happened. I was born close by the events. Violence is abhorrent and not acceptable
When we go to visit my DD, SIL & grandchildren we fly into Manchester.
So many of the victims are children or young people. What a senseless evil act to target them.
I also send my condolences and prayers and thoughts to those who lost loved ones and also have injured family. Hugs from Maureen in South Africa
