Oh, ouch! I certainly will keep Dori in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that she will have a complete recovery with no loss of movement.
It's probably not something that either of you want to think about right now, so soon after the accident, and occupational/physical therapy for this kind of thing almost feels like insult on top of injury (it sure can hurt!) but it is worth it.
I'm sorry that you had to have the trama of seeing more of Dori's hand than you ever wanted to, but aren't you glad that you could find out that seeing "inner workings" is not your life's calling *NOW* rather than perhaps after several years of schooling to become a nurse or something? That is what happened to one of my aunts. She was sure that she wanted to be an RN until she was involved in a practical demonstration in her third year and just couldn't stomach the site of the actual wounds. =[
Here's the funny part Cutie Pie, the best class I took in college was anatomy. Working on cadavers was wonderful... and disecting human organs was my thing.. BUT, there were no feelings attached to either you know? Seeing Dori in pain just set me over the edge...I'll stick to what I do professionally. No career change for me. LOL... xoxo
Ah, and no constant blood flow in anatomy class... :-) That's NOT where my calling is...
Troubles, they do abound. So sorry about your friend Rosie & sincerely hope she will be fine. Prayers r being offered up 4 the 2 of U. *4U

Teri, I'm glad Dori has a great friend like you to go thru this with her! I'm so sorry it happened, but at least you were there and could do something about it. You and she will have great support from here, I'm sure, as you already have gotten. You have mine as well. Much love coming your (y'all's, plural, you & Dori) way. Hee hee hee. Marji
Dear Teri,
I'm so sorry that you're friend got hurt! She will feel much better after the fracture is reduced, and the pins will help to keep it there. When her wrist heals, she should be as good as new! I will add her to my prayer list.
Big hugs,...Barb
