Some time ago Lidia commented that she wanted to see what I'd do in the way of using a design big enough for the Pfaff 360X350 hoop. Well, I've played around with several smaller designs and have just stitched out one of them. Design is from Sue Box and called "Azalea Design". The black design outline measures 14X14 inches. Because the hoop is so large the design stitches out in 2 parts. The 3rd picture shows how close they match up...I'm quite pleased with my first effort as other large designs I've done have been designed by someone else. This will probably turn into a cushion but right now I'm wondering whether I should put some lettering in the centre. maybe "Home Sweet Home"? Any suggestions? Avis

Good for you! You will love it once you get going. Have you owned other Pfaffs? What model are you working with? It's taken me quite awhile to feel friendly with that large hoop, but now I just have to make sure I have the time to be close to the machine while it stitches out such huge designs. Thanks, Lidia. I'm glad you got me to try this. The black basting outline is 14" square so this should make a nice sized pillow. Now to finish the project!! Avis

Do you have any of the Pfaff software? I use 5D. Give it a try, you can play on your computer and get ideas. Thanks for your encouragement. Let me know if I can help. Lidia walked me through a lot - after seeing her beautiful doilies I just had to try. What Pfaff model do you have? Avis
