Oh, Avis - your "playtime" sure resulted in some lovely cards! Thanks so much for the great tips! Hugs*, Deb
You explained how to do it so well. Makes me think I might could do it too. Thanks.
Oh do give it a try. Would love to see what others do with this so post pictures. Thanks for your comment. Avis
I think they are both beautiful! What a fantastic idea to make cards. DebB
Beautiful cards. You can try to write with a gold pencil "Happy Birthday", "Thinking of You", etc. etc. then stick some crystals as said you killiecrankie and sign your work . Thank you very much for sharing.
Amitiés de France.
Love your idea of signing with a gold pencil...I have one!! Thanks for your comment.

Both very pretty. This is a great way to use those trial stitchouts and your designs are fabulous!
I have a box of them...great idea. See all the comments and ideas people have given me? I appreciate every one of them. Will have to find those stitchouts!! Thanks for your input. Avis
I have done the design on sparkly organza in the past and glued it in a tri-fold card. They are expensive, so gluing it to the front of a card would probably be cheaper. You could cut around it with pinking shears, too, for a different look. I like your idea of using other attractive fabric, too.
Well done!
Organza is one fabric I have not sewn on...yet. I'm going to try it one day. Thanks for your option for variety. Avis
Great idea, maybe if you glue some crystals ,sequin shapes or just colour the puckers ,they will become part of the design & not be noticed.
Have you thought about the packets of stickers that you peel off & stick down ?I use the Happy Birthday stickers a lot on plain cards.
Coloured envelopes in various sizes can often be found in cheap shops amongst pens ,pencils etc.
Well, bless your heart!! Your cute perks are awesome...now I have something else to put on my shopping list. Will see what I can find next time I visit Dollarama or Michael's. Thanks for your helpful ideas. Avis
Great designs for this project! I like the idea of just gluing on to the card instead of using a tri-fold card with a cutout. Thanks for the detailed information too!
When I get this system down pat, perhaps I'll take some pictures as I go along. Tomorrow I'm going to go to Staples and see if I can find some blank cards with envelopes. My prototypes in the pictures were just plain card stock and there were no envelopes. My mind is racing ahead and depending on the design it could be fun to add crystals!! thanks for commenting and I hope you give it a try. Avis
Wonderful idea. Thank you for your info how you did it. Now all you need is my address.:-)
Got a birthday coming up? ggg Maybe just "thinking of you" will be apropos!! Thanks for your comment. Avis
Beautiful! I am so jealous as I collect Fuchsia designs but do not have a Pfaff.
I collect fuchsias too and I share in your jealous moment! Hers is beautiful.
If I find any online I'll have to direct you to them. I haven't stitched this one out yet and was amazed at how many colour changes there were, in the end I was pleased how it turned out. Thanks for commenting. Avis
Beautifull, Thankyou for the incentive to try this. Janette
Oh please do...and post some pictures. I'm glad I can inspire someone else. I always feel as though I'm on the receiving end. Let me know if you need help. I'm still tweaking my fabric and stabilizer. Avis
Very nice. Keep up the good work. Hugs
Thanks, Shirley. One of the perks about retirement is that I have time to "play". Just love it. Be blessed, Avis
