Does any cutie know of a site that has a design for a superhero crown and wristlets that would fit a child? I'm not sure of the hero it is, but it is basically a gold headband with a single point in front and a red star embroidered on it. Thank in advance.

Since I've learned that it is Wonder Woman, and therefore copyrighted, and I have Brother Disney machine, I will go to ibroidery and look. Thanks.

nothing suitable there. It's for a baby photo prop, so I think I can come up with something somewhat similar but workable on my sewing machine.

I thought I remembered that you had a Brother Disney machine. I hadn't seen any there that would have helped you. Perhaps you might find fabric that you could use for fussy-cut pieces. It sounds adorable for photos.

If it is Wonder Woman design you are wanting then it will be copyrighted as already mentioned. But a star shape is not and you probably already have something in your collection.

thank you. I don't want to violate copyright. I think I can create a crown on my sewing machine that could work.

All of those would be illegal designs unless they were from ibroidery.com. what you're looking for is Wonder Woman and it is copyrighted and licensed by DC Comics. They are very aggressive about enforcement.

there are tons of Wonder Woman designs out there that must be violations of copyright! I think I'll just look for a sort of similar crown. I do have a Brother Disney machine, so I can look on ibroidery. Thank you.

You are right there are stacks of copyright designs being sold on Etsy and other sites. Not much sign of aggressive enforcement of copyright on those sites.

Etsy has semi-annual sweeps -- my guess is due to legal "requests" but the thing I have noticed (quit a bit recently) is many websites that used to offer illegal designs are gone. No one hears why or what happened to them, they just go away. Some reinvent themselves by using a new name for their website...but eventually, they will be gone too.

Just curious why it is O.K to post images of Disney characters and other cartoon characters on the personal page?

I already asked that a long time ago, and the answer was NO. Even if you are not violating a copy-write law, I was told Cute does not want the friction of it being up as a project. I may be saying this badly, but result is the same. I used coloring pages to digitize Star Wars characters for a quilt, but did not show it on Cute. Hugs, Judy...
