What a wonderful job you've done. Even the backing came out perfect.
Love it Sue, Beautiful job. Have not tried backing with fleece but after seeing this am strongly considering a Christmas quilt backed with fleece./lillian
I've used fleece as a backing both with and without batting. It gives a nice cuddly finish and is easy to work with. You should try it!
Thanks for showing the back. Did you hoop the quilt? or use a stabilizer and pin it on? I have a crib size quilt that I'm going to try this on. Love your work. Avis
WOW! that is gorgeous. Love your fabric choice. Thank you for showing the back also. Beautiful quilt. You have to be so so happy with it.
I really enjoy seeing your quilt! I think ME and quilting go hand-in-hand and enhance each other. Good job!
I just love this!! How did you connect your "In-the-hoop" blocks?
They aren't ith blocks. The patchwork was the quartered stripes quilt from MSQC made on the sewing machine. I just did the quilting on the embroidery machine.
The quilting looks great on both sides. A lovely test of your hooop and quiltdesign!!
Gorgeous! So how big of a hoop did you use? Amazing!
The quilting design is 195mm square to fit my 200mm blocks. My quilting hoop is 220mm square so plenty big enough.
Nicely done! I do almost all of my quilting these days in the hoop...
Love the colors. It is beautiful. Haven't tried machine quilting on quilts yet but this just may motivate me to try. Thank you for sharing.
What a great job you have done. The back is as lovely as the front. Nicely done.
It is fabulous! How long did it take to work it? 30 hoopings?
Looks great. Lots of wrangling with the fabric I imagine but so worth it by the looks of it
