I think you should go for it! Saw a demo of a multi needle (don't remember which one) - loved it!
Michele got a 15 needle Happy a couple years ago and last I knew, she figured it was the best investment. She also does a lot!
I know absolutely nothing about multi needles. But you know what Kim - go for it. If you don't I am sure you will regret it
I say go for it. Once you thread it and do a few designs, you will be comfortable. So hurry and get your demo and sign on the dotted line. I have never regretted buying any of my Babylock machines. I sold my 6 needle to buy my 10 needle Enterprise and am glad I did. Let us know what you decide.
I can't help, but hope what ever you decide that it works for you. It's about time you had a good change.
I have the Enterprise 10 needle and love it!! IT is user friendly... lots of features and a work horse. LOVE IT!!! Go for it you will not be sorry...
I have seen the 10 needle brother equivalent as the babylock embroidery machines are not sold here. You will love it for sure, it is a beautiful machine. Extra hoops are a good idea too if you can manage it. There is a learning curve but as you already have the ellissimo many features will be intuitive for you. If finances allow, you wont regret it for a second (except maybe the empty pocket)!
On the other hand some preloved industrial machines sell for much cheaper than the home semi industrial embroidery machines and they are designed to handle as much work as you can throw at them! As much as I loooooove the brother 10 needle and all its features (I have had one on my wish list for a while), I opted for a much more affordable pre-owned 12 needle industrial. I paid less than $1,000 as opposed to way over $10,000AUD
With all the hassles with your machine I think if you go for it, you should ask them to throw in heaps of extras. If you don't get the table/trolley for it you will need a very sturdy place to put it. They are quite heavy. I like the trolley they come with as they have wheels and you can store all the extras underneath.
With all the stitching you do, Kim, go for it....I have not once regretted my 16 needle!!! It is a little challenging to do the ITH stuff, but once you figure it out, it goes smoothly....
Thanks, Vicki...I still need to go in for a demo which I plan to do either this week or next week...
Get off of that fence and pull the trigger. As much embroidery as you do, it will be well worth it.
Sorry I don't have an answer as to the particular brand you are contemplating.
I have the Enterprise and I am still intimidated by it. A lot of features you will be familiar with since they are the same as in the Elissimo. Other then that I am of no help. To be fair I have not given the Enterprise enough time to get comfortable with it.
Thanks, Angie...I am still not "sold" on the idea that I need a 10-needle..and I will be keeping my Ellisimo if I do get it...dealers are saying with the amount of embroidery I do...I "definitely need" a 10-needle...struggling a bit with the investment cost...
I have the Enterprise. I haven't used it like I should, but I love it. You won't regret it. I have a great dealer that helps me with any questions.
After the demo you will be hooked... I bought my at a quilt show, my dealer gave me a great price so he wouldn't have to load it up and take it back to the store. lol
