Praying she gets a good report soon. Waiting can be so difficult.
Thanks to Pauline - she just texted me saying this garage full of fabric was in Rydalmere which is a suburb of Sydney. Thanks once again Pauline ❤️ Chris
Hi Meg, no she just said Myrtle Street, right hand side of the street at Rydlemere, (sorry I spelt it wrong in the post above) I didn't ask for her name. Love Chris
Hide e ho ... Sorry meg and Chris , dont remember the ladies name. You wont miss the house she has a sign on the fence. Have fun shopping. Miss our get togethers, :(
Meg, I hope your friend, Rada is doing well - I just read this. Please update us and let us know how she is. She is in my prayers! Hugs, Laura
Thanks Laura, waiting on final biopsy results, I'll post as soon as I know anything. Hugs n love, Meg
I've missed this post as I have just been skimming until today. I have a dear Uncle who is in the process of going to his final resting. I kept his daughter's grandchildren on Monday along with my regular 3 and it was quite a day. Youngest was 16 months old. It was a fun but long 9 hours, then I had to work yesterday extra after missing Friday and Monday.
I'm very sorry to hear about your friend, but am encouraged that her outcome sounded positive. It appears that our faithful Cuties have stormed the gates of heaven on her behalf and I will join in asking for her perfect healing.
Thank you so much Jerrilyn.
I'm so very sorry to hear about your uncle, sending prayers for strength for all the family at this very difficult time.
Hugs n love, Meg
Praying for Rada as she awaits the outcome of her surgery. My heart goes out to her. I do hope that you can share this photo with her. It made me happier just to see your smiling faces ...and all that fabric!
Thank you so much.
Actually I don't think she has seen this photo so I should print it out and give it to her. :-)
Hugs n roses, M
Just caught up with the posts and am so happy that Rada is out of surgery...holding good thoughts and prayers that they got it all...and WOW, it's hard to believe that the photo was taken in a ladies garage!!! Looks like a quilt shop!!! Looks like you were all having such a good time! And, Meganne, thanks for letting me know that Rada got the Angel and card I sent....
Kim she loved the surprise as I hadn't told her it was coming and I think it really lifted her spirits. :-)
The lady with the fabric had it all in her garage, fabulous set up but she was a heavy smoker and (sadly) didn't apologise for it.
I know Rada has the prayers and love from us who know her and I also thank the Cuties who are praying and thinking of her.
The above picture was in a lady's garage who sold fabrics. We had a ball and I know I ended up spending more than I intended. Love Chris
Thanks Chris, she did sound much more positive when I spoke to her this afternoon.
Didn't that lady have some great fabrics and terrific prices too. Such a pity about the tobacco smell, it was making me sick, probably me more so, being an ex smoker. LOL!!! Now I don't even remember where it was. :-(
Hugs n love, me
Pauline knows, don't ask me and as I'm not from Sydney I haven't a clue where suburbs are. They all blend into one in my eyes. We didn't have to travel too far from Pauline's home and I know it was just in a lady's suburban back yard and you are right the cigarette smell was horrible. Love Chris
hope and pray everything will come alright, so the happier moments will return as on the picture. Hugs)))
Meganne, praying for your friend Rada this morning in USA. What a lovely friends picture to think of her as I pray. Sorry your knee is progressing slowly, mine too. Today is my last therapy and I'm still not going upstairs to sew - too daunting. Mine has not straightened out sufficiently, especially at the back, but I'm just taking it that it needs more time. Still wobbly and afraid of someone tipping me over!
Thanks so much Betsey, I think it helps to put a face to the name.
So sorry also for your knee woes.
We have 15 steps here to get to our upstairs living quarters, downstairs is all garage except for my sewing area. I walked up those stairs the day I came out of hospital and I haven't stopped walking down and up them since. The surgeon had said that stairs would be the best possible physio other than an exercise bike.
Now at 7 weeks I am walking normally, albeit not very prettily, (LOL!) up and down the stairs though I am still not happy with my knee bend as I can't ride my bike yet. I can't wait to get back to my sewing but hubby is fitting out my sewing room so I am stuck upstairs feeling pretty bored. :-)
I have discovered that the more physio you do, earlier after the surgery, the more progress you make and much more quickly. I still have two more physio visits because I have been spreading them out and doing a lot more on my own, at home. It is crucial to keep pushing through the discomfort to regain as much flexibility as possible before it becomes too late, so I am determined to keep trying.
At least the pain I had before the surgery has completely gone and it will be so much easier to walk up and down stairs once I get better knee bend. I do hope you get better results too. hugs n roses, Meg
Thank you so much for all your support.
Rada is out of surgery now and in good spirits.
Now the waiting begins as we have to wait for the final biopsy results.
I am quietly confident all will be ok, but ........
hugs n roses to all, Meg
Sorry Meg, have only just seen this this evening. It's now 10.20pm and I see Rada has been out of surgery for over 5 hours. I pray that she will soon be on the road to recovery. Love Chris
The surgeries were very minor as such, she said she doesn't even have any stitches. I just pray the surgeon got it ALL!
hugs, me
PS, I ordered the needles Monday night and they have already been shipped.
Prayers are said for your friend Rada. Praying that all cancer will be found and removed and healing will begin.
I pray for Rada, that the surgeons are guided and able to remove the cancer, and that she makes a quick recovery. She is blessed to have such dear friends watching over her. God bless all of our Aussie embroiderers.
Prayers and hugs for your friend Rada, and hugs for Polly, Chris and you, Meganne!
Lidia
Praying for a speedy recovery of both body and soul
My thoughts and prayers are with your dear friend Rada, for a successful operation. And a very quick healing process on the road to a complete recovery. Thanks for the photograph in happier times, looks as though you have all had a wonderful day amongst that lovely material. I do hope also that you are now feeling much better. Sandra.
Thanks so much Sandra.
We did all have a lovely time that day, only one of many we shared before Polly moved to Queensland.
I am at least, mostly pain free now though not happy with lack of progress on knee bending.
hugs n roses, Meg
Meg you need to take things easy and slowly with your knee sometimes it can be a long healing process.Don't go overdoing it. Sandra.
Will Pray;;;;God please be with our friend and make recovery easy ***Amen hugs
Hugs and prayers that all goes well and they can remove it all
Praying all goes well for Rada and there is no more.
It does look like happy times. Tell me, whose sewing room is this, yours Meg?-lol
Thanks Toogie your prayers are appreciated.
Sadly no,it wasn't my sewing room, but it was a lovely day when we all went out shopping together.
hugs n roses, Meg
I was joking as I saw a shopping bag Chris has.
Are Polly and Rada Cuties here?
My thoughts and prayers are with her...and hopefully the angel is watching over her...please let her know she has many angels in her corner...
Thanks Kim, Despite all my best efforts, she has been very worried so it will be great to get it over and done and she can (hopefully) move on. Hugs n roses, Meg
