I know Arya was gorgeous for the 4th in this wonderfully made dress and carrying of nice matching purse. Bet she's a little Diva/Lillian
She had the perfect outfit for the 4th of July celebration. Job well done
I am sure Arya was one of the best dressed, for the 4th of July celebrations! I love your choice of fabrics, a great find. Your under ruffle 'mistake' just makes the top ruffle stand out more, so sometimes mistakes work out for the good, uh? Nice job on the set.
Beautiful and colourful - Hope you had a great 4th of July! Thanks for sharing - Maria
WOW! Pamela, I think the dress is awesome! What pattern is it please? Love the purse by KK too, great pattern. I also love the coordinating fabrics. Love Chris
Thanks Chris. The pattern(s) were a combo of 2, the bottom, which is a circle, is McCall's M7587, and the top is Simplicity Project Runway 1702. The nightmare came with the top. The ruffle on the top has another ruffle underneath it, which is supposed to be on top and above it. By the time I figured out that I had made this mistake, I was so over it. If I make it again, I will know better. I love the off the shoulder thing going on. As you are looking at it, the right side has a strap with a bow attached, and the left side is a regular on the shoulder type. All in all, I was concerned that it would look too "cowgirl-ish"...but Im happy with it. I added the embroidered star on the bodice to tie the top and bottom together. Again thank you so much!
They will be so cute together. The dress may not have been as easy but it is fantastic. She will be adorable in these.
