Inserting the needle right is a bit tricky with those round shank industrial ones. They always seemto turn slightly when you insert them and I have done the same thing as you: carefully getting one just right and then discovering it needed another 180 degrees. Well once bitten, twice shy.
Enjoy your machine!
now that's the word .... TRICKY.... just when I thought I had it in , I hadn't tightened the screw enough and it fell out, grrr, this type of embroidery sure does test your patience, but as you say, once I was told what the problem could be, and went and checked it out, I am sure the penny dropping into the bucket was heard the other side of the world, the clang was certainly loud enough. But I am now on the road to learning this machine and looking forward to showing off what I have learned. Thanks heaps.
Good to hear your problem was solved. Happy stitching. Looking forward to seeing what you create. Hugs
Hurray that you are stitching and both you and the machine are happy now. It's always a steep learning curve with a new machine and you have passed the the first test. I'll be looking forward to checking out your completed projects.
I am starting the learning curve all over again with this machine, those needles really got me , thanks for your comments and help
So happy that you have worked it out Trish, glad we could be of help. Love Chris
I am delighted that you have solved the problem that you had and are now up and running with your new machine. I have a 6 needle machine and it took some time to get to understand and enjoy. A big thanks to you for letting us know the problem is resolved.
I now have the big learning que with this machine, but will enjoy re-learning the different methods on the machine, thanks for all your help. Trish
So glad you figured it all out, Happy Stitching! Pam
Pam , I would not have figured it out in a month of Sundays! only for this groups help, I would still be sitting staring at the machine waiting for it to tell me what's wrong !, thanks for your help and comments. Trish
So pleased you have it sorted out. It usually is the silly little things that give us the most headaches.
Looking forward to seeing your creations.
it IS usually the silliest of things and the most obvious that we cant see until it is pointed out, thanks for you comments Trish
