Just want to say a BIG THANKYOU to all the cuties that have helped me with my new janome happy, it was the needles round the wrong way, that was causing the needle thread breakings, now I am on the road to recovery with these machines I can get my embroidery Mogo back and start making the things that I wanted to before all my problems with the other machine, YIPPEE, once I start completing things I can post to show you all wonderful ladies what I have done,

once again thanks heaps, your all wonderful to help. hugs to you all

Inserting the needle right is a bit tricky with those round shank industrial ones. They always seemto turn slightly when you insert them and I have done the same thing as you: carefully getting one just right and then discovering it needed another 180 degrees. Well once bitten, twice shy.
Enjoy your machine!

now that's the word .... TRICKY.... just when I thought I had it in , I hadn't tightened the screw enough and it fell out, grrr, this type of embroidery sure does test your patience, but as you say, once I was told what the problem could be, and went and checked it out, I am sure the penny dropping into the bucket was heard the other side of the world, the clang was certainly loud enough. But I am now on the road to learning this machine and looking forward to showing off what I have learned. Thanks heaps.

Hurray that you are stitching and both you and the machine are happy now. It's always a steep learning curve with a new machine and you have passed the the first test. I'll be looking forward to checking out your completed projects.
