I'm so glad that your husband came through the surgery alright Vicki. It's always good to pop into a fabric shop for some retail therapy. Did you have to to go Adelaide for the surgery Vicki, or up your way?
I had to take my car in for it's rego check on Wednesday morning and ended popping over the road to our huge Charlestown Square shopping centre and spent a bit more than I was going to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love Chris
Yes, it's 675 kilometres to Adelaide from our house. I always stay in Kent Town and so just to awkward we had to travel out to Woodville to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The new Royal Adelaide Hospital will begin to fill with patients by this September, so we're informed. It looks a fabulous building, but I hope I don't have to see it too often.
I'm glad your hubby is fine. And what a great way to spend your waiting time. I hope that in addition to your hubby getting well, you also got some great deals.
So glad your hubby is getting better...and sweet that you found a sewing shop to help ease the stress of it all...
Sew glad to hear your husband is doing better. Praying for a quick recovery. Oh the joys of fabric shops!
I am so glad you found something that could keep your mind of everything, even if it was only for a little while. Hope you treated yourself to a little pack of material.
yes, got a couple of shirt type bits for me, but some other soft baby fabric to make and give away.
The worst is over. Now back to regular hubby care and stitching and planning.
Silver lining indeed! Just feeling fabric makes my eyes water (in a very good way) and my hand feels warm and loved. Glad that your darling hubby came through surgery well. Now to get him healed....thought about wrapping him in some pretty rolls of fabric?
A true sewing lover.....you found the silver lining in your dark cloud!!
