Well, I've finally finished all 8 of the Table runners for my Christmas ladies lunch this year.

I've taken out Meg's because she will look at this post and I don't want her to see hers!!!!!!

It's been bitterly cold here in Newcastle for the past week. I was only commenting to Jerrilyn what whacky weather patterns the world is experiencing!

Off to church soon, so I better go have a shower and wash and blow dry the hair. I've had it cut short so it doesn't take longer than 5 minutes to blow-dry now.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Love Chris

P.S. The colours of each runner was chosen by each lady. They just don't know how it's been put together. This is a Sweetpea design. Please excuse my boots and the camera clock is still on Daylight Savings Time, it's actually only just now 7.50am!

My table runner is the Navy one! Mum's is the pale blue one, the aqua one is Mum's 89 year old friend Val, the Teal one is Stasia's, the red, blue and gold is Sue's. The autumnal one is Kaye's, the red, green and silver is Chris Munroe's and of course Meg's is missing!!

The finished size is roughly 30 ins x 8 ins, these ones were made in the 5x7 hoop, but they do have larger sizes as well.

I don't know how I missed these but they are all so pretty. I love this runner design and see it in her newsletter sometimes.

Beautiful! I don't buy very many designs anymore--I am a troll seeing what is free--someone wrote about trolls--I am more the collector these days and don't get a whole lot accomplished. Of course there are a bit of troll in all of us, otherwise none of us would go after the freebies. Sweetpea has gorgeous projects and designs. I drool when I look at them, just as I am doing over these. I am all electric here in the states where I live and icy outside. My first floor heater went out and I think we are holding at 59 degrees here in the house--I am dressed with thick layers of everything and don't feel like moving. Hopefully the part under the house unit is what my husband thinks it is and has ordered and will be here by Friday. Love your projects.

Hi Chris, very nice! I also have this pattern, and was going to make for Christmas gifts, but I ran out of time because we were away for a month, and didn't get back home till Christmas week, so before we left home, I made 5 twisted pole runners. I hope to post the photos soon, not feeling 100% today.

They have already been very much appreciated...these are the table runners that Chris made for her luncheon last year!

Hi Michelle, you must have missed these last year. I rang all the ladies and asked what colours they would like and so each one is different. You can make them as long as you like really. Love Chris

It is cold in Melbourne too, but we use a wood burning stove to keep us warm day and night! - Hugs

Thanks, it is very clever. Just lay down your wadding, then placement stitch sews and then you put down fabric and do the stitches. They are all very easy, love Chris

Thanks so much Sandra, they all look forward each year to see what I'll come up with. Still got 2 gifts times 8 to make yet. I want an FSL article for their Christmas tree and I always make a tea towel with a design that matches my theme. ❤️ Chris

Very nice table runners, the ladies will be delighted with them. My BIL is recuperating in Newcastle after a triple by-pass heart operation. He is staying with his son. He was enjoying the warmer weather to what we have been and still having down here in Tassie. He will think he is back home. Hugs

Hi Shirley, sorry to read your brother has been in hospital, but if he is in the John hunter hospital, it's the best outside of Sydney. I hope he is doing o.k. now.
You are right though about the weather being nearly as cold as Hobart, we certainly haven't been this cold in a very long time. Thank you for commenting. Love Chris

He 9 (Hubby's brother) had his operation in the Royal Melbourne Private Hospital. He lives over here in Launceston but his son lives in Newcastle. Sorry to hear you are having some cold weather also. Hugs

Very nice amazing how the same thing can look so different just by changing the colours used.
We are even cold here in Brisbane the last few days. Not as bad as out West though but enough to make you put on a track suit. Last weekend I was in shorts and T shirt.
