Hi Cindy beautiful colours and i bet your g/d will show everyone and tell them my Nan made this...soozie
Great work and a heirloom for Emma
Thank you! I remember the quilt my grandmother started and my mom finished and gave it to me for my Wedding.
My mom made quilts for all her grandchildren, of which are mine. They still have them.
You did a beautiful job,and I'm sure she will love it and treasure it always.
You did Awesome Quilt with Beautiful work....She shall treasure it for sure!!!Gorgeous!!!
Love it! I enjoy seeing quilting and ME used together. My fondest memories is of a quilt my great-aunt made when I was a child. I'm sure she'll cheris it and will be in her memories as an adult too.
Delightful quilt which I'm sure she will always enjoy.
It is a beautiful quilt. Only machines create perfect patterns. Little mistakes here and there just prove that a lot of love and effort went into the quilt by the creator.
It is beautiful. When I first started quilting, I had an instructor in a class that I took that said "If you can't see the mistake, it doesn't matter" as she was swinging the quilt block back and forth! No one notices. You have a quilt that your granddaughter will cherish for years.
Beautifully done, Cindy! Your granddaughter will love this. You have created a wonderful heirloom she will cherish forever....How did you like the edge-to-edge quilting technique compared to traditionally quilting? Looks more like it could have been done on a long-arm machine...I am still pondering edge-to-edge over traditional in my mind.
The edge to edge quilting has cool designs but it is challenging and involves lots of hooping and alignment work.
Cindy, it's wonderful and I'm so glad to "see" you here.
Gorgeous Cindy and your colours are perfect. Emma will absolutely love this. Love Chris
I am sure your granddaughter will treasure this beautiful quilt from her gran. Terrific job and colour choice, well done. Sandra.
I am not a quilter so I see no mistakes. lovely job!
Your quilt is very pretty. I know your granddaughter, Emma, will think it is very special - especially since it was made with love by "Grandma."
