Lidia Wow!!!!! What excellent beautiful lace doily nice combiations of 3 lace designs together .Loved it have been a nice day
Lidia, you never cease to amaze me with what you come up with...and it's all just so beautiful!! This is stunning. I'm sure you are the only one I know who would think of combining 3 different lace designs to come up with something so unique. Well done!!! By the way, what size hoop did you end up having to use for this doily? Keep up the good work and I love that you share it all with us. Your creativity blesses us all. Be blessed in return. Avis
Thank you for your comment, Avis :-)
The idea came when I saw a doily panel made by Sue for a set, so i looked for another design to place in the middle, as there was ample space in my largest hoop which measures 20x36 cm (8x14"), and i was thrilled by the result :-)

I've combined floral designs etc. but never NEVER thought of combining lace designs. Today is a day for me to sew but it won't be lace this time. Thanks again for challenging me with more ideas. Love it. Avis
You done it again my friend, original and very very pretty!
Congratulation and hugs, Roberta
Beautiful! A lot of stitches, I bet, but worth it!
Thank you, Martine. There are 184000 stitches, :-) but being all in one colour, I only had to replace the bobbin thread every now and then, leaving me lots of free time to do other things.
Hugs, Lidia
Your work is always so beautiful and you are so creative. Love seeing your projects.

How pretty Lidia, what weight/size thread do you use for your doilies please? Another stunning piece of work, love Chris
