They are adorable and your 3D flower just perfectly finishes them off.
Are you able to tell me where you got the pattern from or the pattern number please. Thanks in advance
Sure - it's McCall's 5835 and I bought it recently, so it should still be available. It comes in Toddler sizes 1-4. Hugs*
That is a cute dress! The flower really spruces it up! I have fond memories of a dress my grandmother made me. I'm sure your GD will too!
These are Sewwww cute.... I have a 3 year old GD and another one will be here within the month, these would be so cute for them in a few years. These are really really cute. Thanks for sharing. oh, I Love the 3-D flower, I think you made a good choice in making it 3-D, makes it stand out. :)
Well done...they are adorable...loe the 3D flower you added...
Thanks, Kim! Quite a compliment coming from someone who has made so many adorable and gorgeous dresses! Hugs*, Deb
Your granddaughters are going to be adorable in these. The flower was the perfect touch!
I love the 3D flower, how did u do it?
Thanks! You start with a circle of fabric (mine were 3" in diameter), fold it in half and half again, gather the bottom rounded edge, pull tight and tie off - that's one of the petals. Repeat again for the required number of petals - I used 6. Stitch the petals together to one another close to the gathering stitches. The center is a yo-yo made also from a 3" circle. Attach yo-yo to the petal circle.
There are numerous 3d flower tutorials on the web, this method seemed like the easiest (sorry, I thought I had bookmarked the site.... but I didn't. If I find it, I'll post the link.) Hugs*, Deb
Lovely dresses, and the 3d flower addition makes it just perfect. Well done. Sandra
Perfect girly dresses and love your 3-D flowers.
Lovely dresses. Look fresh and cool. They will be loved by your grandchildren. Hugs
Perfect decision to use the 3D flower. It adds so much to this cute dress.
Thanks! I had never made one of these, but it was easy peasy and I do think they made the dresses. I'm in the process of making miniature ones for hair clippies...not so easy. LOL!
