UPDATE on Laila.... She went for X rays yesterday She is 6 weeks into recovery. Her pelvis is forming a callus to connect the two parts. Unfortunately she is not healed yet.... She has to have cage rest another 4 weeks.. I do PT on her twice a day to stop her leg from atrophying . I am not sure she will be able to use her leg from the knee down but time will tell. I think she has nerve damage in that part of her leg.
Laila is so cute with her stubby tail. The stitches are out and the fur is growing back from being shaved. She is a doll... No complaints from her even when she was in so much pain, All in all she is doing well despite being so injured from the car. She was in serious condition for a bit but is thriving now, Thanks for all the prayers for her,
So glad to hear Laila is improving. You are a God send to these fur babies. Bleesings in all you do. Prayers.
Suzanne, you are so special. No one knows or can comprehend the amount of work that it takes to do all you have to do, nor the sleep you lose . Your work is 24/7. There has to be a special blessing from God for people like you. The Bible tells us He sees the sparrow fall so I know He cares for all animals. I've always been a cat lover so I know how precious each is to you. You and all your balls of fur are in my prayers especially the little Laila /Lillian
You are wonderful to help all the cats. When I was a little girl, people use to let her animals out in front of our home as they knew we would take them in. I was so fortunate to grow up in a home where my parents allowed us to have pets and we found homes for all the strays.
Talk about animal cruelty! But rarely do folks who don't take care of their pets (especially neutering) get held accountable. Bless you for the wonderful work you do. I dropped off a small donation at our local animal shelter this week and there was cage after cage after cage of adorable kittens lining the halls. No cats, just kittens. I was afraid to ask about the cats. The rooms for animals were all filled with cages of dogs. It about broke my heart to see so many animals needing homes.
God bless you mightily Suzanne for looking after all these defenseless creatures. I do hope you get some compensation for all the hard work you put into caring for them. Prayers definitely for Laila and the rest of the new babies. Love Chris
Wow Suzanne. You have certainly been busy. I don't want to think of what would happen to all these babies if they did not have wonderful people like you to care for them. Thank you for all you do.
Oh my gosh, Suzanne......what do you do in your spare time.......I don't know how you have enough hours in the day to help all these babies, but boy, am I glad you do......You are certainly a guardian angel for these kitties and extend love and prayers to you and the animals.......
Suzanne, i'm seewwwww happy those furbabies have you to take care of them, my thoughts are with you and the Kitties.
Hugs,
Gabi
My dear, yes for sure you have been busy. I feel so lucky to read that there are people in the world taking care of animals. Any kind. Some of them do really need help, from us, people who can be so mean sometimes. Then I wish them all the bad I can wish them. But lucky we have people like you with such a big heart, and so I 'm sending you nothing than good to you and your whole family friends. Thank you
Wow, you certainly have been a busy bee...such a big heart to take care of so many that need it!
My goodness.. You had a very busy summer. I hope you will find places with caring people to be able to adopt them out.
