You are a very special gran. Ben ang Georgie are also fascinated with my embroidery machine
Most people find embroidery machines interesting when they see them in action for the first time. Josh and Sophie are busy planning what they would like to sew next time they visit. Thanks and *4u
What a lovely thing to do. They will remember you forever now. Love the variegated thread you used
Oh, very nice idea. They'll have projects in mind when they come again. We were taught a bit about the jig saw and the band saw by our grandfather and each summer we would spend the 1,000 mile trip to see him planning out what we wanted to make. He always reminded us of the safety rules and told us what wood was off limits, reserved for some lady's cabinets, and then turned us loose on the machines.
They'll remember this experience for a long time. You may have just inspired the future generation of sewers! Are these fonts from your sewing machine? Or are they purchased fonts?
The font used for Josh is in my laptop and the other is one of many I have downloaded onto my laptop to turn into embroidery. *4u
Josh and Sophie have a good reason to be thrilled, well done!
Hugs, Lidia
It is great that you can show young people how much fun it is to create things and not just go to a shop to order or buy things.
Thanks Linda, we had a great time and they now want their own machine... It was a suggestion for my sister in law to buy one with some of her retirement money
What fun! Was someone else cooking while you did this ;-)
Sadly no as it was half eight before we started. We were very squashed in my sewing room but great fun
They are going to go home thinking you are just so cool. They will remember this holiday forever.
You are a wonderful Grammie ***and your sewing is A+ hugs
Twm and I have had many hours of fun with my machines, these two are my sister in laws grands. Thanks *4u
Fabulous job by both and that was so nice of you to let them use your beautiful sewing machine! Love Chris
