Very nice! I don't digitize, but I would really like to try a zipper bag. Would be lovely for gifts.
Well you should...it is amazing to watch your embroidery machine stitch out an ITH design and a zipper...go for it!
wow beautiful work.. you even managed to include zip tabs in an ITH?! i'm impressed... BTW great way of utilizing old pair of jeans :) hugs maria
Thanks Maria...Yes, you noticed...there are zipper tabs on each side of the zipper that match the lining...small but effective...
What a spiffy ittle purse! Makes me regret thowing out a pair of jeans the other day.
Thanks, Penny...I almost gave them to the Salvation Army...they would have put them to good use, but I think I did too!
Awesome job, Kim!!
Thank you, Vicki...getting use to doing these ITH items on the 10-needle...getting easier!
Looks great Kim. Love the design on the front and your zipper too
Great job. I would love to know how you did a top zipper in a lined purse in just 1 hooping. You must be magical!
Thank you...it did take me a bit of doing to finally figure it out...and the process is a bit different than "normal" ITH projects...
Great looking purse! Love the colors and the material! Wonderful JOB!
This zip bag you'd made looks lovely& such a nice idea to recycle your jeans too. Thanks for sharing it.:~D
Another lovely project, you are so clever, I wish I could digitize as well
Love the idea of the jeans Looks really good Val
Thanks, Val...you can see a little spot on the back of the bag where the jeans were a bit worn....
Very nicely done. Love the recycle of the jeans!. Am in love with the batik lining!
Thank you...it was leftover from a simple jacket that I did a bit back...
You clever clogs, this looks wonderful. Love Chris
Nice bag! I love the jean usage...have some of that lining fabric. Another great job!
Thanks, Tonya...the jean fabric was a bit heavy which I really noticed when I turned the bag....but it did work...it will be better with the larger sizes.
Wonder how they would look done in leftover bridal fabrics!!!! I still have left from both daughters weddings as I did all the bridal party dresses. Gorgeous bag either way!
Bridal fabric might make a lovely quilt top with embroidered designs and decorative top stitching. There's a name for this type of quilt which totally escapes me now.
Beautiful work as always. Love the center design.
Thanks, Smokey...me too...I have a soft spot for the Jacobean style designs...
Even your test projects look good. Nice work friend.
Thanks, Toogie...I did need to tweak it a bit...but overall I was pleased with the test!
Looks absolutely fantastic. You are so clever. Hugs
How would one go about buying this ith design? I have made many ITH bags but have not found a design for top zipper.
