You can make coasters, doilies, angels, decorations for Christmas tree, bookmarks, wall hangings, bowls, ear-rings and other objects that are useful. There are quite a few websites that offer FSL designs and inspiration. You can also search here in Cute where there are many projects made by Cuties.

I have decorated candles with fsl. Candles kind of burn in the middle not down the side. I have seen candles for sale with paper decorations so I don't think it is a problem.
I carry a few FSL angels in our vehicles to give out to people who need a little something when they are going through a rough patch. I've also given them out in Bible studies.
I sometimes use them for my overhead fan pulls. Put them on suction cup hangers and put on the window. They are great on sliding glass doors. I even use on my mirrors. Have used them for zipper pulls and zipper pulls on bags.
Depending on what they are, they look lovely on wreaths and holiday décor. FSL sewn onto décor pillows and throws adds an extra dimension.
Christmas tree ornaments, also for a Valentine's or Easter tree or on a simple branch for table centerpiece. Small designs on a barette, or as pendant on a chain, or on a silk necklace. Really small ones make earrings. Happy stitching.
