Hi Cuties... my sister is next to Tampa and they had run from two previous hurricanes but decided to stay put with Irma so she has hankered down to weather the storm. She heard a tip and has collected all the family photos and put them in her dish machine because it is waterproof... question is, will the machine stay put LOL

Don't forget to put water in zip lock bags into a storage area. Prayers for all in Irma's path.

I read someone saying not to put valuables in the dishwasher as the plumbing can back up into the dishwasher and ruin things.

Do not put them in the dishwasher! Nasty stuff can come up thru the drain of the dishwasher! I just read an article about that! It's best to put them in a waterproof container as a plastic bucket with lid & tape it shut.

Praying that everyone is safe. I would never have thought of that tip. My dishwasher has water sitting in the base from the previous load so I don't think it would work with mine.
