Prayers and hopes for your safety with you all in Florida.
i pray that you get out of this all ok, and that nasty storm flys right by. i said i would tell you when i get my machine, well it came and it is scarey, problaly not as much as that storm, you must have lots of angels with you. now is not the time to ask you anything, but when you get back to normal, i pray that you do, please let me pick your brain, god keep you safe, lol Doris
My daughter was returning from a wedding in Destin this morning and sent video of the LINES of power trucks and pickups towing small boats (they all looked alike and had blinking lights on top, so I assume they were government owned) that were traveling south. They are coming to help as fast as they can and I'm sure will park just out of harms way waiting to get into Florida and quickly as they can! Be safe. We're all praying for those in Irma's path!!
We heard on the radio this morning there are 5 million people without power in Florida. I'm praying for everyone concerned. Mother nature sure is angry at the moment. Keep safe everyone, love Chris
Please stay safe. I also have several friends and family in Florida. Storming the gates of Heaven with prayers for all.
I'm so thankful that there has been plenty of time to prepare for this latest catastrophe. I hope you are safe and don't have too many issues. Our local KMart parking lot has about 50 bucket trucks standing by. I don't know if they are traveling elsewhere or are preparing for what will come here. We have generators, water, and food stored. Waiting another day to bring in any of our outdoor furniture, plants, bird feeders, etc. Praying for Florida and Texas right now.
I just finished the yard chores. My chairs are rather heavy and it's a long walk to the garage, so I turned them and my glider all down onto the ground and took in all the little gardening stuff like watering cans, buckets, hose sprayers, etc. Took planters out of plant stands and off shepherd's hooks and put them directly on patio or the ground, hopefully down out of much of the wind. Took way more time than I thought it would - about 2 hours. Turned small statues face down on the ground, too. Good luck with your preparation. Took my wheelie trash can into garage, as it is top-heavy on a normal day!
thinking of you - stay safe and well away from glass windows if you can.
I know help will be there for you. Many have planned for this need...be safe and keep in touch.
Prayers for all in Florida.. Stay safe and keep in touch as much as you can. HUGS
I didn't sleep last night and I know you haven't got much either. The NWC said Irma came in 14 miles further west than predicted, so you may get more winds than first expected. Keep us updated on your conditions, as you are able. We will be leaving in about 30 minutes for church, so I will check in when I return. Help will come, but not until this is over and it is safe. Take care-love ya-Toogie
