I'm a proud Mom. My baby-well, he's 36, but still my baby-is going to have his head shaved for a Childhood Cancer fundraising.

One of my grandson Landon's classmates-they are 9- has been battling brain cancer for 3 years. A very brave child, he and his family.
I told him now I'll never see him without his hat. But he has the most gorgeous blue eyes, so that's what you see first.

It's done. I thought they would all look shiny with nothing, but you can still see stubble. He did raise $740 through the web site, and I don't know how much people just gave him. Good job. Love that boy..

Bald is truly beautiful! Kudos to him and to everyone who is supporting this child and every person who is battling cancer.

Jo, this is such a great thing for your son to do. Several years ago my daughter had her head shaved as her friend started loosing her hair due to chemo. I thought my daughter looked lovely. This is a photo of my daughter when her hair had just started to grow back.
I wish your grandson's friend all the very best.

IF money could only get rid of this terrible disease, but I know they have to fund research, so I am proud too, that your son is doing what he can to raise funds. It is so sad for anyone to have to go through, but a child just pulls at your heart even more.
Prayers are needed for sure for this little guy, his family and Landon. I lost my first best friend when I was six years old and I have never forgotten Julie. I recently went to the graveyard and tried to find her grave, but I didn't find it. Her and her brother died the same day in a car accident.
