Good day Cuties, This is a cardinal, from our very own Cute site. That's it, right here at link below and isn't he a beauty!

I had plans to make Avery some bibs to bring tomorrow but I have had 2 different sets of unexpected visitors today, so this has been all I managed to do. Enjoyed my visitors though. I hope you enjoy looking.

I have adjusted so much over the years, I think my bib is getting out of whack. The neck hole had to be hollowed out even more and when I did, I should have made the end of the strap wider, where it meets the front snap.

Also, this red check is a piece we quilted, on a long arm quilting machine. Remember when I told you a while back I went to a friend's house that used to have a business? Well, we quilted this gingham about crib size, just playing with quilting and she told me to take it home and cut it up for Avery's bibs. Here is the first I've made.

Wonderful cardinal! And what a great use for "practice" leftovers. Very nicely done.

Thanks, Brenda the friend with the longarm, told me since my wrist has been giving me trouble, to bring her my fabric and batting and she would quilt me more large pieces to be made into bibs for Avery. She is most kind and just lost a daughter to cancer. She has a special place in her heart for Avery, since her daughter had special needs, too. The only drawback is, it makes her bibs all the same fabric.

Thank you very much. It is a nice cardinal. I'm not certain if there is a set or not but I just have the one right now. He stitched perfectly.

Yes, I'm glad to have it, because my wrist won't hardly let me free motion without hurting. Thanks!

Toogie, do you use quilting gloves? It takes pressure off of your wrist.

I guess I need to get a pair. I have to use playtex for handling shrimp, leather or wool for the winter, so now I guess I need these for fabric!-lol- no joke does it really help the wrist?
