Looking good.
Have you tried putting some tearaway along the edge where you want to stitch to see if that stops the grabbing?
Or just a thought try overlocking ( serge it ) the Leather edge.
Love the little coon and your 'friend' did well designing the grid for you.
These trays you'd made look great. Wondered does 1 of your machines possibly have a leather sewing setting? My mechanical machine has one with a button that pulls out on the side. Thanks for sharing your work. :~D
Love the quilting design on the racoon tray. Came out good. The one with the rifle will be loved by the guys. The fabric almost look like they have been patched. Hugs, Mary
love that racoon design so cute :) did you use normal material for the other one? dosent it fray?! love them higs maria x x
I love that raccoon design you chose! He's very handsome! My older machine does not have all the feet that were made to work on newer and/or more difficult fabrics. If you have some scraps of this fabric, maybe testing different feet might help.
BTW...how many machines do you have? Are some of the feet interchangeable with the machine you used to do this?
yes there changeable i only have 2 embr. machine 2 sergers 4 regular machines shhhhhhhhhhhhh
I have eight too! So I don't feel so....ummmm....guilty? about having them all over the house.
Well done....I think the quilting adds a very finished look...
