Hope every one that celebrates Thanksgiving had a wonderful day and did not eat too much. I had a first, after my txment on Wed. daughter and her husband packed me up and took me to Demopolis, Al.(2 hr. dr.) to spend Thanksgiving with my Grandson and his wife. JUst the 2nd time I have had the chance to go to their home in 6 yrs. He and his wife have a beautiful old, old home they have restored on the Tombigbee River and I had only seen it right after they purchased it. I really enjoyed myself and the Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful. Back home today, have had some kind of respiratory infection and on an antibiotic for 7 days. Didn't think I would feel like going but they kept telling me they would take care of me. I finally said ok and I am so thankful I did./Lillian

So glad you got to go & visit with Grandson! Our daughter from Huntsville is up here right now. But leaving for Ala tomorrow morning. Will miss her, our visits are too short.

Know what you mean about too short trips. Don't know about Knoxville but it has been below freezing several nights here. Daughter is coming from Athens and that is just outside Huntsville. hugs/Lillian

I'm so pleased that you got time to spend with your family Miss Lillian. What a wonderful celebration you Americans have. We don't celebrate that day, but I know we are thankful for every day we have.
I'd love to see the renovations of your Grandson and wife's home, sounds like it would be fabulous.
I too hope that your infection disappears real soon and that you are back on your feet again and back to normal. Love Chris

Thank you Chris. Oh to be back to normal again would be wonderful. Looks like that will not happen 'till next year. still having some difficulty walking and Rad treatments 5 days a week will continue untill next yr.. Another of my daughters , Robin, will be coming tomorrow to be with me a few days and give the others a break in taking me for my treatments. She has had her 87 yr. old mom in law with her for over a month and has not been able to come for more than a day at a time. She will get some rest here. LOL hugs/Lillian

Ps .Didn't get any pics at Brian's. Could not get upstairs at all and I dropped and broke my camera also. Hoping Santa will bring me a new one for Christmas. Adele did take pics of me and Brian and his wife Tracy with Brians camera. They had picked up 85 lbs of pecans from their 2 pecan trees. They had them cracked at 25 cents a lb and I spent a lot of time picking nuts from shell while there. We all brought home plenty for holiday cooking

Thanks, I did have a good Thanksgiving. But the best gift for me is to know you had a wonderful day with your family and got to see your grandson and his family and their beautiful home. I'm so grateful your family takes such great care of you. Now hurry and say good bye to that infection. Our prayers continue for you.

It sounds like you were well taken care of! You have raised wonderful daughters and I'm so happy to have met 2 of them.
Your grandson's house sounds amazing. How wonderful to sit and watch the tugs and barges go by!
We went to my sister's house, but she's never cooked a turkey or dressing so I made that and 4-5 other dishes and took them. I only got a small spoonful of every thing but still couldn't come close to finishing my plate, so I brought it home and had it for a late dinner. My favorite dishes were Spinach and artichoke casserole and Ambrosia, well and of course dressing!
Big hugs and love to you.

Road Trip! Sounds like a good day, though that is quite a lot of car time. Don't forget your yogurt to restore your fauna and flora. We both had a lot to be Thankful for this year - and some of them hard things to say thank you about. I am thankful for meeting my Cutie friends. How often are you going to treatment?

5 days a week Betsey. They closed Thursday and Friday, so gave me a couple of days respite..
