I haven't checked the link either, but I am a displaced Texan and I still LOVE bluebonnets and indian paintbrush. I guess since I am in California now, I have to acknowlege the poppy...

I haven't checked out your link yet and even though I live in Canada now I still remember my state flower. California is the poppy and I can actually grow them up here. Nice (new) avatar.

The grand finale was beautiful. My state flower is the bluebonnet. We have them growing in our front yard.

no, it just must be true about black.

Let's see... I was born & raised in CA and that is the Poppy, while I have lived the majority of my life in TX and that would be the Bluebonnet! Love the link, Thanks & *4U!
