You've done it again! I'm assuming the frame is another one of yours. It just sets the whole project in an A+ class of its own. Well done! Blessings to you for a wonderful 2018, Avis
You are right, the frame is one of the few I have created some time ago. Thank you for lovely comment, Avis and I wish you a wonderful 2018 as well :-)

Lidiad, do you add fabric on the back to hide the stitching? Also on the doilies with lace around? Sorry for all the questions but I adore your work and Sue Box designs and need to get making some myself. Follow your doilies on Sue Box. Anne in Colorado
Hello Anne and welcome to Cute Embroidery.
I don't add fabric at the back of doilies to hide the stitching.
I add soft cut-away stabilizer underneath table mats, like this one shown in the photo above, and place both layers on top of the hooped water-soluble stabilizer called Vilene.
Thank you for your comment, Anne. Hugs, Lidia
Thank you so much for the reply Lidia. When I made a table runner from S-Embroidery I used linen for the base and did not add any other fabric but it was just lace around the edges, Was surprised how beautiful it came out. This is one amazing hobby. Anne
I have made a few doilies with lace around. I have embroidered the free-standing lace first and then the design inside the doily and no fabric at the back.
I agree with you, Anne. it's an amazing hobby :-)
