I could swear that a while ago I had posted looking for information of embroidery software that you could buy in modules and not Embird as I have that. I was looking for software that had a catalog function. I'm so old now that I can't remember the site or when I posted...or maybe I never posted? Anyhow, can anyone direct me to software that had a stand alone module for cataloging?

I haven't bought it yet. I'm not sure if it is a stand alone module or if I have to buy the program first.

Aha! You found it for me! Many thanks!

All the other ones require that you drag a design a design into a folder and if I want to put it into more than one folder, I have to drag it to each one...ie "dog" can go into my dog folder, or dog cartoon folder, or dog Christmas folder, etc. I can do that without software.

hooray! Glad to have helped.

Several years ago I downloaded a free "Directory" from Kenny's Kreations. It's quite comprehensive and if you want to add another folder or sub-folder you can do that. I'm not sure it's still available. I'll check it out. I haven't been to that site for quite some time and I'm sure things have changed. Blessings, Avis

Sands computing-which has SewWhatPro, and Sewiconz, for editing and seeing the designs in folder, also has SewCat, which is a cataloging program. There is a free trial to see if that is what you want.

No, not those either. It would bring up a window that you could just type as many the key words you want and it would sort the designs in as many folders as you want. Like, if you typed "embossed, dogs, cats" it would automatically sort them into those 3 folders....no drag and drop or copy/paste.
