This is what has been keeping me busy for the last few days.

I began with a Tilda charm pack which I had had for ages and some Bomull from Ikea. I made up a piece of patchwork with alternate squares, big enough to go round me with a bit extra . I layered this up with wadding and more Bomull and quilted it with my shiny new rulers. Two more pieces made the sleeves.
I then cut it down to the right size, cut some armholes and the sleeves. To keep it neat inside I bound the seams.
The pockets are done like bound buttonholes with a lining hand stitched on the back.

Wonderful job on this little quilted jacket. I love the pocket finishing and the armhole seam too. You definitely have an engineer's brain! Love Chris

P.S. I had to go back and check on your post about the rulers, sorry I missed it. Awesome!

Looks great, I like the way you did the sleeves no raw edges, and sometimes even when I finish with the serger it does not look as neat as this.

I was very strict with myself and didn't keep moving the fabric so I could stitch towards myself. It has got easier, but my stitches are all sizes!

You are to hard on yourself. I think you did awesome with the stitching.
