After reading all the comments all I can say is that we must all be about the same age. LOL.
Well, I catch everything there is and if we were close neighbors, I'd say I caught the 'Can't Find What I'm Looking For' from you.
Every time I try to decide on a pattern for the quilt I wanted to make for my husband, 'our 50th' something prevents me. I am beginning to think its not meant for me to do.
I try to help my niece out with the trip gifts and she has another one planned about 2 months after this Florida trip. I told her I need to work on our quilt. She tells me she understands but I know I'll still end up trying to do.
Well, last night I couldn't sleep so I was planning it all out in my head. I had drew a pattern up to applique and now have searched high and low and cannot find it for the life of me. It's several sheets of paper taped together you'd think I could see it.
Mamma always said when you quit looking, it will turn up. Well, I stopped, don't know that I've quit.
And dh went to Lanie's last ball game, as a high school Senior. I could have played with my ideas on the bed........
And I bet while you searched you found all sorts of things you had forgotten about. I guess you needed a day off from stitching and didn't know it. I hope today is a much better day and went the way you hoped.
Thanks for sharing your funny take on a haphazard day.
I thought the same thing about the saying, but knew better than to make that reply to my mother. That's when I'd get in trouble for having a "smart mouth".
I had the same kind of day. And it was not even a full moon, which is what I usually blame things on. Hugs. Nan
What a day! But I was always told..."Tomorro's another day, Scarlett"
It makes me feel better to know I am not alone when it comes to losing things. My hubby says you will find it when you are not looking for it. After searching the same place 3-4 times for a bag the other day he came into the room and said have you looked in this cupboard. Yes I said. Then I pulled out a box I hadn't looked in and there was the missing bag. I hope you have a better day today. Hugs
I would have to ask him, but I know it often helps when he comes to look for me. Hugs
My mom always said there would be days like that. How true. Praying tomorrow will be an improvement.
I hope that tomorrow is a quiet and peaceful day for you that runs smoothly. One can but hope
