Fastest in-shop machine repair ever. Today I was stitching along and noticed that a small screw was bouncing along on my hoop. Stopped the machine and opened it up and looked everywhere. Couldn't see where it came from. Called the shop and described the specialized little screw and mechanic told me 4 places to check. That wasn't it, so, down the stairs, into the car, and into town. It took him about 6 minutes of comparing the inside of my machine to the inside of the floor model and - voila! Back in business. He said it had probably just worked its way loose from vibration (had it around 3 years). Only got one item stitched out today, but tomorrow, I'll be back at it.

Wonderful that you could get it in so quickly. I am lucky that my repair guy is local (30 minutes away) but they are so busy, it can take up to 3 weeks to get my machine repaired. Guess I can't have my cake and eat it too. Hehe.

That's awesome and I hope you realize how lucky you are to have a tech nearby. I have to drive 90 miles each way. :(

Great news...glad it was such an easy fix...lucky your Mr. Fixit is close! Takes me about 2.5 to 3 hours each way because of traffic to get to mine...ugh!

45 minutes each way for me. The price of being rural, which, most days I love.
