wish i had door handles so i can make some they are very cool...soozie
Hi Soozie, you could still use them as seat belt covers, or even on baby seats or on the shopping trolley to stop you getting your hands covered in germs etc.etc. etc. Love Chris
ABC - Always Busy Chris. Will be beautiful in your new kitchen. How many quilt squares have you?
Thanks, I've still only sewn 25 navy squares - haven't done any this year so far. I've been helping a friend who runs a drop in centre for the Baptist church and was teaching them how to sew today for a couple of hours. Tonight I've been downloading our hymns for Sunday's service. Lots of work making sure I have the correct CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International) and correct song number and our Church's licence number embedded into the videos. It's fun, but time consuming. We're off to our friend's place in the Hunter Valley at 5.00am tomorrow morning for the harvesting of the 1st Shiraz paddock. Next weekend it's the second paddock. Then tomorrow evening we are going to see a take-off Tina Turner dinner and show. Love Chris aka ABC!!!!
Maybe that's Always Booked Chris! You're making me tired just reading about your events. And, yes, I've had some experiences with CCLI, necessary, but a pain. Good for you on the missions work to the Baptists!
A friend of mine got the fridge handle wrappers and she was saying she might also use them for seat belts. I thought that was a great idea--those things hurt the shoulders and also for the babies to be padded. You've done a great job. Nothing wrong with changing colors to suit our spec's.
I agree with you Patti, there could be a number of uses for them. Thanks for commenting, love Chris
Clever idea, to change the design, so every piece is unique.
Pretty designs Chris!
Yes, this set from Veronika is gorgeous, but I'm not into brown autumnal colours. I love blues, purples and winter colours mostly. Love Chris
Amazing how different something can look just by changing the colours.
Did you quilt the fabric in the machine or is it pre quilted?
You can have one for every day of the week.
Hi Barbara, yes, you are right, different colours and designs certainly make a difference. I used prequilted fabric, it's quicker that way! Love Chris
Awesome idea - l happen to love blues!!! Well done!
I am sure the result will be just perfect. I do that all the time. Mix and match.
Thanks Angie, I've not done this sort of thing before, but I thought I must give it a try. So I've stopped the design when I've put the top and bottom pieces of fabric on and then gone to another design and put that in, then went back to the Fridge Wrapper and finished it off. It was so easy, I don't know why I've never done it before. Just had to remember which step was next! Love Chris
