***Cuties*** be careful with your personal information you share online -- especially in an open forum (meaning anyone online can read posts) like this one. There are quite a few Cute members that have given enough information, here in this forum, that I could drive to your front door -- if I had the money to travel. I am not scary to most people...but there are bad people that will use the information you give to exploit you, your family, and/or your credit.

For safety -- don't use your full name (ever) in a forum and don't add your hometown or directions to your house if you have ever given your full name.

Is it possible to delete all mt posts and create a new user name?

Send the moderators a PM with any posts you are concerned about. You can edit any of your posts if that helps. I haven't tried to find your information...but I haven't seen you add your full name and hometown in a single post either. The Q&A section can help with "how to" edit as well as giving info on sending PM's

Yikes! That describes me. I’m too trusting, I guess. I never thought of the dangers.

Good reminder!!
also, do not click on any links that come to you. Several years ago I thought I was signing up for a computer help service. It turned out to be a scam. They can put files on your computer that you know nothing about and I eventually had to have my real life computer tech take everything off and re install the things i wanted. She said she had already done 5 others that week! They do still phone me trying to get me to sign up again so I'm not entirely rid of them but it does keep me vigilant!!

I am glad you have someone to help with your computer. Many people fall victim to the scammers.

Thanks for the reminder - it's amazing what information people put out there for the world to see.

I know some never worry about this kind of thing. Sadly, too many will take advantage of anyone at any time or place.

Thank you for the reminder. It sounds totally innocent to ask these type questions and for the most part is, but there's that one that has nothing better to do than try to take advantage of you. I hate having to be so suspicious, but it is the nature of the digital world we live in.

you are right,
................
but I must admit I do like the idea of you traveling to my front door ( if you had the money), wouldn't that be great , together sharing coffee.......oh sorry just dreaming away....
But you are right, we better be careful. Thanks for the tip.

I would love to visit with you. In your case, I would need more information to find your front door. ;)
