My Easter cactus is starting to bloom. It was started from a cutting from Ron's Mother's who had started hers from a cutting from her Mothers. The mother plant would be over a 100 yrs old now and there were several of us that started new cuttings. As far as I know mine is the only one surviving and still growing. Ron watched for it to bloom every year. He was so proud of it. Wish he could see it now Hugs to you all ./Lillian

What a gorgeous plant. Mine is as big as yours but only 1/4 of the blooms. It was in my house, then when I was moving I gave it to my daughter to mind, then came to my new place but not so many blooms. I guess once it settles into its new home it will come to life. Thanks for sharing.

I am currently trying to grow one from a cutting off my mom's which originally came from her mom. My daughter's cactus bloomed so beautifully this year!

So Beautiful. And such a wonderful sunny spot for it. A wonderful story about this one as well. These blooming cacti that have been shown on here make me think that maybe I might want to try them.

They are amazing plants and you have a green thumb. Now I have to read up how to get a cutting. My neglected Christmas cactus (I had forgotten to water it) bloomed in spite of me a beautiful pink/peach
